This project is well rounded. The gameplay is quick to grasp and fun at first. The music and sounds fit the graphics, and it's presented nicely. However, there isn't enough variety to really motivate me to stick around and go further. Different enemies or different power ups would be welcome, just something to break up the "routine" the game quickly settles in to.

You said it took about a week to make, and again it's a nice project as it stands. But, with some more time, this could turn in to something great. I'll be watching for when that happens. Until then, thank you for sharing this project with us, and keep on rockin'!

Perfect

One button games tend to either be incredibly good, or incredibly bad. This game is the former, in spades. Gameplay is straight-forward, the presentation perfect, and sound and graphics exactly what they need to be.

I still can't believe how many people (from what I've seen in the App Store) are complaining for "more content" like "different level set ups" and so on. This game is a great example of how sometimes less can be more. I'm a huge fan of when developers and designers can provide just the right amount of content, and even more of a fan of when they go the minimalistic route and nail it.

As of time or writing, both the Flash and iPhone version has not yet established leaderboards, but honestly that's not something I'd lessen my review over.

Thank you for both creating and sharing this game with us. Keep on rockin'!

Very enjoyable, well done game

I enjoyed this game a lot. The graphics and sound went well together, and with little set up you quickly created a neat little world for the game to take place in. The idea of challenges versus expensive costs for the skills was nice, and the meta/4th wall breaking of leveling up *anything* felt clever without being overdone.

My only gripe was a better guide as to where specifically the race challenge went. Perhaps a few extra directional signs? Aside from that, I have no complaints what so ever.

I'm looking forward to future projects from you, and thank you for sharing this project with us.

I'm a shaaaark!!!

When I first leaped out of the water, I smiled. When I latched on to a helicopter, I started laughing. When I got hold of a airliner, I was laughing so hard I had trouble pressing down to get it underwater.

I cannot find anything bad about this, except that it ends.

Absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much for making and sharing this!

A nice experience

I enjoyed this submission. The music was nice, and despite being on loop didn't get irritating / detract from the rest of the submission. The idea was obvious (bring color to the B+W world while pursuing love), and was executed well.

The only negative comment I have is that the sparkles to denote something could be interacted with were sometimes hard to see. Perhaps making them larger, or blink more often?

Great submission all around; thanks for sharing it with us!

SilverStitch responds:

Thanks~
I didn't want to make them too obvious though, but I might increase their chance of sparkling when I update it. =)
Thanks again~
